Welcome to Château de Kerouzéré
Finistère’s last inhabited fortified castle
“Nothing more romantic, more medieval and truly beautiful” – F. Boisgobey, Voyage in Brittany – 1839
A private residence that has been in the same family since 1821 and listed as a French National Heritage, Kerouzéré Castle is a remarkably well-preserved architectural gem from the 15th century. An exceptional example of medieval Breton architecture, it combines history and modernity to offer an outing that is both cultural and enjoyable.
On the cultural side, a tour of the château—fascinating from both a historical and architectural perspective—is regularly enhanced by major exhibitions, such as those dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci in 2025 or Picasso in 2026.
For relaxation, the estate offers a family stroll through its grounds, an outdoor play area (archery, cornhole, sack races, team skiing…), a corn maze in summer.
A complete experience, combining discovery and fun.
Events are also held throughout the year (medieval festival, Christmas market, Easter egg hunt, etc.).
