On Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, 2026, the Friends of Kerouzéré association invites you to celebrate the second edition of its Great Medieval Festival at Kerouzéré Castle in Sibiril.

What’s on for this day ?

⚔️Historical reenactors will be present in a large medieval encampment to the north of the castle.

🛖A market featuring local artisans, including some specialising in medieval-inspired products

🌮On-site dining with food trucks and drinks.

The detailed program for the two days (identical for saturday and sunday) : 

🏹10:30 am : Medieval archery tournament by historical reenactors

🎶11 am : Medieval music

⚔️11:30 am : Armoured combat show

🌮12:30 pm : On-site dining with food trucks and drinks.

🎶1:30 pm : Medieval music

🐎2:30 pm : Equestrian games

💥3:30 pm : Artillery firing demonstrations

🎶4:30 pm : Medieval music

🛡️5:30 pm : Equestrian jousting

🎶6:30 pm : Medieval music

🛡️Les equestrian joutes and armoured combat will be presented by Les Ecuyers de l’Histoire, one of Europe’s most renowned troupes

🎶Medieval music will be performed by Marotte et les Musards, a troupe from Rennes, specialising in medieval music

⚠️Warning ⚠️

Due to the large number of visitors expected, the interior of the Château and the Picasso exhibition will not be open to visitors on August 22 and 23.

Dogs are welcome at the medieval festival, provided they are kept on a leash.
